I feel really happy today!
I received a letter from my best friend a few days back. I was really touched by the message and the card itself. Gen has not forgotten me. She still knows what I like and she still treasures our friendship. My best friend in the whole world is still here for me.
Since I started working I have not had enough time to go out with my girlfriends and my best friend. I missed out a lot actually! Maraming beses na they ask me to go out with them pero parati akong may work. I always feel guilty about the fact that I can’t spend quality time with these girls who I have grown up with and shared my teenage life with. Because of this I was open to the chance that I would lose them and that they would find someone who would take my place.
When I received Gen’s letter, all my fears were put to rest. She enclosed a picture of us back in high school. She told me that she missed me and that there are times when she wanted me to be there for her. But she never really blamed me for being too busy. She completely understood the situation and she told me that she was really happy and proud of me. And even if we have not seen each other in months, I was still her best friend and nothing in the world could change that. Her letter made me cry. It touched me a lot.
Gen is a perfect friend. I’ve always thought so.. I am so lucky to have her. She has always been there for me. She is my confidant and my inspiration. I Love her very much!
On a lighter note, last Sunday I met a great bunch of people. To Erika, KitKat and MG..it was great to finally meet you guys. Thanks for all the things that you have done for me. Now may faces na yung mga kausap ko sa net! Patrick, Glenda, May. Apple, Dos, Dext and Paolo..looking forward to future meetings. You guys rock! Thanks for being great friends!
